As part of the EU-GCC Dialogue on Economic Diversification II, a project aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council, we are please to invite you to the EU Quantum Context : Smart Policies – Thriving Businesses event, held as part of the Quantum Innovation Summit.
This in person event will showcase the EU’s position as a global quantum leader and explore how smart public policies can translate world-class research, infrastructure and investment into thriving quantum businesses. It will feature opening remarks by H.E. Lucie Berger, Ambassador of the European Union to the UAE, followed by a contribution from the European Commission on the EU’s Quantum Europe Strategy and the Quantum Act, and a high-level panel bringing together leading European quantum companies.
The discussion will focus on the practical opportunities for industry, including scaling quantum technologies from research to market, access to European quantum infrastructure, investment and industrial development, skills and talent, post-quantum security, and the role of policy and standards in enabling trusted deployment. The session will also provide a platform to explore deeper EU-UAE cooperation in quantum technologies, including business partnerships, investment, research collaboration and technology deployment.
